We use necessary first-party cookies plus analytics and marketing cookies. The latter are on by default and we tell you so on your first visit (in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, only if you accept them); you can turn them off any time from "Privacy" at the bottom of every page.
First-party cookies
| Cookie | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| codifly_consent_notice | Necessary | Remember that you've seen the privacy notice | 1 year |
| codifly_analytics | Necessary (stores your choice) | Remember whether you accepted or declined analytics | 90 days |
| codifly_marketing | Necessary (stores your choice) | Remember whether you accepted or declined marketing | 90 days |
| Account session cookies | Necessary | Keep you signed in | For the length of your session |
The site also keeps your analytics preference in the browser's local storage (codifly.analytics.preference); the cookie is what counts.
Third-party cookies (you can turn them off)
| Provider | Usual cookies | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics | _ga, _ga_* | Usage statistics |
| Google Ads | _gcl_* and cookies on Google domains | Campaign measurement |
They are turned off if you choose "Reject" in "Privacy" or if your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal.
How to manage them
Besides the "Privacy" panel, you can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the necessary ones, the site can't remember your choice.
